You have the structure for the essay. Now you need clear events which show either repeating the past or making attempt to change from the past.

Interesting selection of examples. Push your academic voice and build in an example from literature/history to round out your essay.

Every person makes mistakes. Some people do not learn a lesson from them but some people do. So, I think that some people who they might learned a lesson from their mistakes would make different choices if they had the chance. Some people would make the same choices if they did not learn a lesson and make that mistake again when they have the chance, such as in the story of “Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment.”

Work on only using the story as one of two or three examples that you develop. You can fill this out by using history or by using a personal experience/observation of a specific event.

Do you believe that people would make different choices if they had the chance or are would they make the same choices? Well to me people would try to make different decisions if they had a second chance but they would end up failing and make the same decisions. One historical example of this occurring is with Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon wanted to try to form the French Empire but failing in all his attempts and he tried multiple times to do that. The other example is I. I try to do things different when the time comes but like Napoleon I do the same thing and end up ruining things.

Interesting examples. Give your personal example a more specific event to deepen your discussion, rather than generalizing.

When someone is given a second chance it is usually because someone is willing to forget about or forgive something they had done in the past. People will commonly make the same mistakes that they made the first time around, not because they mean to or because they want to, but because even in the sound chance people will still go for the same goal that caused their failure the first time.

Good first examples from literature. Develop the second example more fully. Clear position.

If a person is only given the knowledge and experience of their age and at their current point in life, they cannot be expected to make the better choices their older, wiser selves would have made. Therefore, I think that if people were given second chance to make their choices, they would still make the same choices, unless they had the experience to know of a better choice to make.

Clear examples. They could use a litte more development each, but the argument is present in both.

An interesting approach--why we repeat our choices. Interesting use of quotes in your first example. I would venture to say that the experiment also shows that one must also have the desire for change.

In the SAT argument essay, you want to merely take a position in your intro and then develop the examples in the body paragraphs. Clear position taken.

If people were given the choice to have a second chance at life would they change it or would they do the same thing over again? I think that there would be a lot of people that would have not changed anything in there past and some that would ant to relive there whole life over again a see if they can change it. This phrase has been going through decades, where people like you and me have given each other second chances.

Decide on two specific examples that you will develop. Making this choice before you write will build more depth to the essay and your position.

If people were given a second chance then they would most likely repeat there mistakes. People would attempt to do their second chance better but would ultimately end up repeating the same mistakes with slightly differently circumstances. They would go back and change small things, like saying something stupid, but would stay the same as a core person. So unless they change as a person they would make the same mistakes again as a second chance. People don't as an actual person very often. It would take a major life changing event to actually change a person, for better or for worse.

You have a mix of run-ons and fragments which could be improved by centering on specific events and developing your analysis from these examples.

Some people may choose to make different choices if they had the chance. However, if they do that, their lives would be totally different and their families as they exist now may not even have happened. Sometimes it is better to be happy with what you've got.
